How difficult is the course?

Some obstacles are challenging, but most are able to be accomplished by a devout couch-potato.

What if I get hurt?

We try to make the course as safe as we can, however in the event of an injury there will be paramedics and an ambulance on site just in case.

Is there water on the course?

Yes, there will be water to drink at the halfway point.

There is also shallow water on the course that you will have to cross and tromp through several times.

Will showers be available?

There will be a rinse-off station for your enjoyment after the race. You will likely still have some dirt on you though.

Check-in is done before your race. You should show up at least 30 minutes before your race time. Be sure to bring your payment receipt (printed receipt from PayPal) and a signed waiver (printed and signed in advance, or you can sign the form on site).

You will receive a timing chip to keep track of how long you take on the course.

Do I get a shirt?

Yes! All participants get a shirt and medal after their race.

Can someone else participate instead of me?

Yes, for a $5.00 administrative fee. They would need to complete a waiver and we would need your authorization for the change. Email admin@indypatriotchallenge.org.

What if it rains?

Rain or shine, the race goes on! If there is lightning or tornado warning, we will wait until the threat passes.

Can my children come?

Yes, we will have an area dedicated to children. There will not be a supervisor on-hand though. You may bring as many family and friends as you wish to witness you starting and finishing the course. Be sure to have them bring a camera!
